Part 4: The boy who haunts my dreams.

Off to college. I don't think I was in contact with him right away. There was some time of getting adjusted to our new lives.
But, as soon as we were settled we were back to what we did best, talking with one another.
He would write me from where ever he was stationed. And I would always write back.
Quickly, our correspondence turned into us declaring how much we cared for each other. I was the girl he left behind. The girl who was trying to wait for him. But, things didn't go as planned.
We did set up a meeting during Christmas break. To this day, I am surprised that everything worked out the way it did.
Back at home with my parents strict rules, because of winter break. I told my parents that work, at school, needed me for this one day. Surprisingly, they didn't throw that big of a fit for me wanting to go back to school for one day. That was so unlike them. Especially, since I later called them and asked them to stay the night at the college with one of my girlfriends.
The plan was to meet James that afternoon. We would spend the whole day together and go to dinner together and see a movie later that evening.
As planned he met me at my college and we did all that we talked about. Dinner, was fantastic, the movie was fun, Edward Scissor Hands.
The evening was coming to an end. James was suppose to leave and go home. But we couldn't say goodbye to one another. So, I asked him if he wanted to spend the night. (Oh so daring for this oh so innocent girl.)
